ATTA - Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects
ATTA is an international team of architects, designers and creative professionals based in Paris, France. We are a multicultural generation whose lives have intersected by studying and working in different countries and cultures. Currently, we are involved in a wide range of projects, from public to private commissions, across France, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Taiwan, the USA, Brazil, and other countries. From the beginning, we have focused on projects that has specificity of place with multi-layered complexity, exploring themes such as the memory of place, anthropological context, and the concept of an "Archaeology of the Future."
In an age of global homogeneity, environmental destruction, social fragility and loss of the past memories—driven by rapid change and growing society—ATTA's creations aim for long-term continuity in architecture, unearthing the deeper subject matter behind each project and linking past and future through radical ideas. We believe in architecture that is rooted in the memory of a place and carries on into the future. ATTA seeks to create architecture that merges with the style of the place rather than imposing a style of architecture, exploring architectural qualities that no one has ever seen, experienced, or imagined.
